International Rural School Barcelona

International Rural School is a private British school in Llinars del Vallès, in the center of the village.

The school promotes the acquisition of skills and competencies in subjects across the English National Curriculum.

Exploring the curriculum through music is one of our main beliefs. Music is very interdisciplinary and the contents of the different areas of the curriculum can be worked through musical interpretation, i.e. practice with instruments, the history of music and musical language.

We understand the need for a high standard of education for children at the most important stage of their lives. That's why we go above and beyond the standards, with our small class sizes and high teacher to student ratio. This means that your child has more opportunity to express themselves and receive individual attention from teachers.

International Rural School is a place where children can explore, discover, observe, research, create, act and build their learning through direct contact with nature and the social and cultural world.

The levels we teach to are: Nursery, Reception, Primary and Secondary School.
